Now available at Lings Powersports, the Triumph Tiger 1200 GT Explorer is engineered for riders craving long-distance touring comfort without compromising dynamic performance. It combines luxurious touring features with agile handling for unforgettable journeys.
At its heart is a powerful 1,160 cc liquid-cooled inline three-cylinder engine, developing 150 PS and a robust 130 Nm of torque. Enhanced by a T-plane crank design, it delivers seamless power from city streets to mountain passes. A six-speed gearbox, slipper/assist clutch, and Triumph Shift Assist quickshifter smooth out every shift.
Built on a steel-trellis chassis with a Tri-Link swingarm, the GT Explorer features semi-active Showa suspension—49 mm inverted forks and duolever rear shock—offering 220 mm front travel and an electronically adjustable rear setup. Auto level adjustment adapts preload based on rider input or load. Dual-position seat height (825–845 mm) ensures both comfort and confidence, while the ergonomics are refined for all-day ease.
Braking is handled by Brembo Stylema radial calipers on twin 320 mm front discs and a 282 mm rear disc, supported by Optimised Cornering ABS and switchable traction control. It delivers confident stopping even when fully loaded or leaned.
The GT Explorer comes equipped with a full-color 7-inch TFT display featuring My Triumph connectivity for navigation, calls, and media. Six riding modes—including Rain, Road, Sport, Off-Road, Rider, and Off-Road Pro—tailor ride characteristics to any terrain. Additional touring-focused features include cruise control, keyless ignition, heated grips, adjustable windscreen, heated seat and headlights, tire-pressure monitoring, and LED cornering lights.
Supporting accessories include a centre stand, USB socket, and optional luggage mounts, ideal for extended trips. With these enhancements, the Tiger 1200 GT Explorer offers elevated touring capability wrapped in refined package.
