From weekend blasts to spontaneous journeys into the unknown, the Tiger Sport 800 transforms every ride into a thrilling adventure. Its refined engineering and smooth power delivery provide the freedom to break away from the ordinary and immerse in the road ahead.
Now available at Lings Powersports, the Triumph Tiger Sport 800 strikes the perfect balance between sport-bike performance and versatile touring capability. This middleweight sport-tourer is engineered for riders who refuse to compromise on speed, comfort, or technology.
Powering the Tiger Sport 800 is a lively 808cc liquid-cooled, DOHC inline-three engine, delivering approximately 94PS at 10,750rpm and 79Nm of torque at 7,900rpm. The signature triple-engine provides thrilling acceleration and mid-range punch, while smooth up- and down-shifting is made effortless by the slip/assist clutch and Triumph Shift Assist quickshifter.
Built on a nimble yet sturdy chassis, the Tiger Sport features a tubular steel frame mated to a non-adjustable inverted 41mm Showa cartridge fork and a preload-adjustable Showa monoshock rear suspension. With 150mm of travel front and rear, it offers sharp handling and rider comfort across highways and twisty backroads.
Braking duties are handled by dual front 310mm discs with Brembo twin-piston calipers and a single 255mm rear disc with Nissin caliper, supported by optimised cornering ABS for confident stopping performance.
Modern rider aids include ride-by-wire throttle, traction control, and three selectable riding modes—Rain, Road, and Sport—to suit various terrains and conditions. A vibrant 5-inch TFT display provides clear information, while cruise control and triangle-shaped LED lighting ensure safe, stylish long-distance travel.
Built for long hauls, the Tiger Sport 800 comes with a full-colour adjustable windscreen, upright ergonomics, mid-mounted footpegs, and a relaxed 820mm seat height. Its aerodynamic fairing offers protection from windblast without sacrificing performance.
With a wet weight around 199kg, this sport-touring bike remains agile in corners yet planted on straights—an ideal blend of athletic power and touring practicality.
