Trainee Motorcycle Sales Executive

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a genuine passion for motorcycles who wants to build a long-term career in motorcycle retail. You'll begin by learning how our motorcycles are prepared, marketed and presented for sale before progressing into a customer-facing sales role.
No previous sales experience is necessary—we're looking for someone with the right attitude, a willingness to learn and a passion for motorcycles.
About the Role
Every motorcycle tells a story, and before it's sold, it needs to be presented at its very best. Your initial focus will be ensuring every motorcycle is professionally prepared and marketed, helping create the outstanding first impression that leads to a sale.
As you develop your product knowledge and confidence, you'll begin supporting our experienced sales team and learning every stage of the customer journey, with the aim of progressing into a full Motorcycle Sales Executive role.
Key Responsibilities
Motorcycle Preparation & Marketing
- Clean, valet and detail motorcycles to showroom standard.
- Prepare motorcycles for photography and video content.
- Photograph and film motorcycles in line with company standards, ensuring high-quality images and videos.
- Produce accurate online listings with detailed descriptions, specifications and vehicle information.
- Ensure all required advertising fields are completed accurately and honestly.
- Make sure every motorcycle is advertised across all approved online sales platforms.
- Work with the sales team to ensure stock is presented quickly and professionally.
Sales Support
As your experience grows, you'll also:
- Welcome customers into the showroom
- Assist with telephone, email and online enquiries.
- Support the sales team during busy periods.
- Develop product knowledge across our motorcycle range.
- Learn how to guide customers through the motorcycle buying process.
- Assist with motorcycle handovers and help deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Motorcycle Sales Executive

Bicycle Specialist

We are a new bike shop, though part of the Lings Motor Group Family, looking for a dynamic and passionate individual to join our team as a Bicycle Specialist. The ideal candidate will have experience and a love for all things cycling, as well as a drive to provide exceptional customer service. This new venture comes with a couple of exciting new brands to the industry, Gas Gas and Husqvarna.
Responsibilities:
- Sales: Greet customers, assess their needs and provide expert recommendations on bikes and accessories. Close sales and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Technical support: Assemble, maintain and repair bikes, as well as diagnose and resolve technical issues on all bikes, including eBikes. (Cytech qualification highly desirable)
- Inventory Management: Maintain an accurate and organised inventory of bikes, parts and accessories.
- Marketing: Assist with marketing activities including social media, website, in store and external events.
Requirements:
- Strong technical knowledge of bicycles and components.

At Lings Honda Harleston, part of the Lings Motor Group, we are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our warehouse team. Lings are main dealers for Honda cars, motorcycles and power equipment, Triumph motorcycles and Husqvarna motorcycles. From the warehouse in Harleston we operate our mail order department sending out parts, clothing and accessories to customers all over the world.
The successful candidate will be responsible for :
- Receiving and checking in goods from our suppliers
- Correctly locating items in our warehouse
- Accurately identifying items to be shipped to customers
- Be comfortable using a computer for entering information for shipments
- Packing orders to be shipped
- Carrying out stock check
- Keeping the warehouse clean and tidy
