New for 2025 is the Husqvarna TC 300 at Lings Husqvarna. Designed to deliver next-level motocross performance, this all-new machine is powered by an easy-to-ride, fuel-injected, and powerful 2-stroke engine, making it an ultimate weapon for the MX Open category.
At its core is a 293.2 cm³, 1-cylinder, 2-stroke engine, weighing just 23.9 kg. This engine delivers unrivalled peak power and usable torque. With Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) via a 39 mm Keihin throttle body and an electronic power valve, the TC 300 offers smooth, usable power throughout the rev range, eliminating the need for jetting changes and ensuring maximum performance. An electric starter ensures reliable and easy starting, powered by a lightweight 2 Ah Li-Ion battery neatly positioned under the seat. A 5-speed Pankl gearbox offers smooth and positive gear changes, with a redesigned gear lever tip for improved leverage and dirt prevention. The crankshaft is designed with weight reduction in mind to increase throttle response, and a counter balancer shaft minimizes vibrations. An electronic exhaust control system tailors power in every gear.
For an unrivalled riding experience, the combination of the perfectly balanced chromium molybdenum steel chassis and WP suspension provides class-leading handling and comfort. The central double-cradle-type frame features optimized wall thickness in high stress areas for reliability and advanced geometries. Material reduction around the shock mount and steering head, along with revised wall thickness, enhance flex characteristics, reduce weight by 300g, and improve cornering without compromising straight-line stability. The frame is finished with a premium metallic blue powder coating. The two-piece subframe, made from 60% polyamide and 40% aluminium, weighs just 1.8 kg and ensures exceptional strength.
The 48 mm WP XACT-AER forks have been revised for 2025 to work with the new frame, reducing weight while providing more flex. They feature a capsulated, adjustable air spring and pressurized oil chamber for smooth action and consistent damping, with tool-free adjustability for compression and rebound. The WP XACT rear shock, revised for the updated frame, offers 293 mm of travel and an optimized main piston for improved initial comfort and strong hold-up. Braking is handled by powerful Brembo disc brakes (260 mm front, 220 mm rear) with a new, stronger rear brake pedal for improved durability. Lightweight D.I.D rims are fitted with new Dunlop Geomax MX34 motocross tyres for exceptional grip. Ergonomic bodywork, with revised tank shrouds and a slightly higher and wider seat with a high-grip cover, ensures unrestricted rider movement. The graphics are applied using in-mold technology for a durable finish. A multifunctional Map Select Switch offers two engine maps for a personalized riding experience.
