The Husqvarna FC 350 at Lings Husqvarna combines the agility of the FC 250 with a power-to-weight ratio that rivals the FC 450. For 2025, multiple engine, suspension, and frame updates refine the power and handling to enhance the riding experience for both professional and amateur riders alike, making it one of the most capable motocross bikes on the market.
At its core, the FC 350 features a powerful 349.7 cm³, 1-cylinder, 4-stroke DOHC engine, weighing just 27.2 kg. This engine is designed to deliver maximum performance, with all major components and shaft arrangements positioned to centralize mass and aid the anti-squat behavior of the chassis. The DOHC cylinder head features DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) coated finger followers for minimal friction and optimal performance, actuating large titanium valves (36.3 mm intake, 29.1 mm exhaust) for optimal gas flow. An 88 mm bore and 57.5 mm stroke cylinder with a forged bridged-box-type piston results in a 14.6:1 compression ratio for exceptional torque and peak power, all the way up to a 13,400 rpm limit. Fueling is handled by a Keihin EFI throttle body, and starting is electric. A 5-speed Pankl gearbox and Brembo hydraulic clutch ensure precise power delivery.
The chassis sees significant revisions for 2025. The central double-cradle-type chromium molybdenum steel frame has reduced material around the shock mount and steering head, with revised wall thickness in higher stress areas for improved strength. These changes reduce frame weight by 300g, improving cornering, rider feedback, and energy absorption. New engine mounts with cut-outs further improve chassis flex characteristics, reduce weight, and contribute to confidence-inspiring stability. The frame is finished with a metallic blue powder coating. The two-piece subframe, made from 60% polyamide and 40% aluminium, provides exceptional strength at a mere 1.8 kg.
Updates to the WP suspension and rear shock linkage further improve handling. The 48 mm WP XACT forks are revised for 2025, working with the new frame to reduce weight while providing more flex. They feature a capsulated, adjustable air spring and pressurized oil chamber for consistent damping. The WP XACT rear shock, revised for the updated frame, offers 293 mm of travel with a CFD-optimized main piston for improved initial comfort and strong hold-up. Both forks and shock offer tool-free adjustability for compression and rebound. Braking is handled by Brembo, with 260 mm front and 220 mm rear discs. New Dunlop Geomax MX34 tyres are fitted for exceptional grip. Ergonomic bodywork offers free and easy movement, with a slightly higher and wider seat, revised tank shrouds, and new white and blue graphics completing the revisions for 2025. A multifunctional Map Select Switch allows riders to activate Launch and Traction Control, and enable the Quickshifter.
