Now available at Lings Powersports, the all-new Triumph Tiger 1200 GT Explorer is engineered for riders craving the ultimate in long-distance touring comfort without compromising dynamic road performance. It combines luxurious grand-touring features, extended range, and agile handling to deliver an unforgettable journey.

At its heart is the updated 1,160 cc liquid-cooled T-Plane triple engine, now producing an exhilarating 158 PS at 9,250 rpm with robust torque delivered lower in the rev range. Significant mechanical revisions—including a redesigned cylinder head, new pistons, lighter valves, and a freer-flowing exhaust—maximize combustion efficiency and response. Coupled with revised first, second, and third gear ratios, crawl speed is reduced by 6 km/h, ensuring seamless power from city streets to mountain passes. A six-speed gearbox, low-maintenance shaft drive, and Triumph Shift Assist quickshifter smooth out every shift.

Built on a lightweight chassis with an aluminium Tri-Link swingarm, the GT Explorer features advanced SHOWA EERA HEIGHTFLEX® semi-active suspension. With 49 mm inverted forks and an electronically adjustable monoshock offering 200 mm of travel, the system provides automatic self-levelling preload that adapts to rider input or luggage load. For total confidence, the automatic ride height function lowers the rear by 30 mm when coming to a halt—achieving a seat height as low as 790 mm with the accessory low seat. When packing up for extended trips, integrated Centre Stand Assist reduces the effort required to lift the fully loaded motorcycle.

Braking is handled by premium Brembo Stylema® radial monoblock calipers on twin 320 mm front discs and a 282 mm rear disc, actuated by a Magura HC1 radial master cylinder. Supported by a six-axis IMU, Optimised Cornering ABS, Emergency Brake Assist, and switchable traction control, the GT Explorer delivers confident, stable stopping power even when fully laden or leaned over.

The Explorer comes equipped with a state-of-the-art Bosch 7-inch HD touchscreen TFT display featuring My Triumph connectivity, wireless Apple CarPlay®, Android Auto™, and voice control (Siri/Google Gemini). Safety is elevated by front and rear Bosch radar enabling a comprehensive Advanced Rider Assistance Systems (ARAS) suite: Adaptive Cruise Control, Forward Collision Warning, Blind Spot Assist, Group Ride Assist, and Rear Distance Warning. Additional touring-focused features include a massive 30-litre fuel tank, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), lower engine bars, and handlebars positioned 10 mm higher and 10 mm wider for refined all-day ergonomics.
