The Husqvarna FE 501 Heritage at Lings Husqvarna combines the latest technology and premium components to offer an enduro riding experience like nothing else. This model is a fusion of Husqvarna's rich racing heritage with cutting-edge performance, ensuring a machine that excels in all conditions.
At its heart, the FE 501 Heritage features the most powerful engine in the enduro line-up. This 510.9 cc, SOHC, 4-stroke engine is designed to deliver a broad spread of controllable power, making it surprisingly usable despite its immense output. The engine's shaft arrangements are ideally positioned to achieve optimal mass centralisation, vastly benefiting manoeuvrability on technical terrain. An electric starter ensures reliable and instant starting, while the 6-speed Pankl Racing Systems gearbox provides precise and durable shifts.
Riding comfort and agility are further enhanced by the perfectly balanced chromium molybdenum steel frame, which features a new shock mount for improved anti-squat behaviour and a lightweight hybrid subframe (polyamide/aluminium). This frame design contributes to a less fatiguing ride over long periods. Plush WP XACT suspension components, specifically tuned for enduro, provide exceptional damping and control. The 48 mm closed-cartridge WP XACT front forks and the WP XACT PDS monoshock at the rear are fully adjustable for compression and rebound, allowing riders to fine-tune the setup for various terrains and riding styles.
The FE 501 Heritage is expertly assembled with high-quality components throughout. Braking is handled by class-leading Brembo systems, with a 260 mm front disc and a 220 mm rear disc, ensuring superior stopping power and reliability even in the most demanding conditions. The Brembo hydraulic clutch system provides consistent action and a light lever feel. The bike rolls on high-strength D.I.D rims fitted with Michelin Enduro tyres, offering excellent grip and durability. The functional bodywork is adorned with distinctive new graphics exclusive to the Heritage range, paying tribute to Husqvarna's iconic racing colours. A new LED headlight provides improved illumination, and an LED tail light is also fitted. Electronic rider aids include a Map Select Switch for different engine characteristics, and an optional Quickshifter for seamless upshifts. A new combined start/stop switch simplifies operation, saving weight and freeing up handlebar space.
