Striking a competitive balance between power and handling, the Husqvarna FE 350 Heritage model at Lings Husqvarna is undoubtedly the most versatile enduro machine on the market. This limited edition machine offers unrivalled overall handling and performance, making it the model of choice for many enduro competitors worldwide.
Powering the FE 350 Heritage is a DOHC 349.7 cm³, 1-cylinder, 4-stroke engine. Designed for maximum power delivery in a controllable way, this engine is positioned inside the frame to centralise mass, contributing to agile handling. It weighs just 28.8 kilograms and produces almost 51 hp. The cylinder head features DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) coated finger followers and lightweight titanium valves for optimal gas flow and high-level enduro performance. An 88 mm bore cylinder and forged bridged-box-type CP piston create a compression ratio of 13.7:1, delivering strong, controllable power and high revs. An electric starter ensures reliable ignition, while the 6-speed transmission and DDS wet multi-disc clutch with Brembo hydraulics provide precise and consistent engagement. The 42 mm Keihin throttle body ensures an instant throttle response.
The chassis is expertly crafted from chromium molybdenum steel using laser-cut, robot-welded, hydro-formed tubes, ensuring the highest level of precision and quality. This frame features optimized wall thickness and advanced longitudinal and torsional flex characteristics, providing unparalleled rider feedback, energy absorption, and exceptional straight-line stability. The rear shock mounting is no longer connected to the main tube, significantly improving the anti-squat behaviour of the chassis. The composite carbon fibre subframe, unique to Husqvarna Motorcycles, uses 70% polyamide and 30% carbon fibre, weighing just over 1 kg for exceptional strength at a low weight.
Plush WP XACT 48 mm closed-cartridge coil-spring forks and a WP XACT PDS monoshock with linkage provide 300 mm of travel front and rear. Both are fully adjustable by hand for compression and rebound, allowing for quick, tool-free setup changes. Class-leading Brembo brake systems, with a 260 mm front disc and a 220 mm rear disc, provide excellent stopping power. The bike rolls on high-strength D.I.D rims fitted with Michelin Enduro tyres. Complete with distinctive graphics exclusive to the Heritage range, including a metallic blue powder-coated frame and blue radiator shrouds, the FE 350 Heritage offers a unique and high-performance package. Electronic aids include a Map Select Switch.
