Striking a competitive balance between power and handling, the Husqvarna FE 350 at Lings Husqvarna is undoubtedly the most versatile enduro machine on the market. This machine is designed to offer unrivalled overall performance, making it a top choice for many enduro competitors worldwide.
Powering the FE 350 is a compact 349.7 cm³, 1-cylinder, 4-stroke DOHC engine. It weighs just 28.8 kilograms and produces almost 51 hp. This engine is designed for maximum power delivery in a controllable way, with all major components and shaft arrangements positioned closer to the centre of gravity. This design reduces the effects of rotational inertia, leading to agile handling. The cylinder head features finger followers treated with a Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating, and lightweight titanium intake and exhaust valves (36.3 mm and 29.1 mm respectively) for optimal gas flow and high-level enduro performance. An 88 mm bore cylinder and forged bridged-box-type CP piston create a compression ratio of 13.7:1, delivering strong and controllable power throughout its rev-range. A 42 mm Keihin throttle body ensures instant throttle response, and an electric starter provides reliable ignition. The 6-speed transmission and DDS wet multi-disc clutch with Brembo hydraulics ensure smooth and consistent engagement.
The FE 350 is built around a proven chromium molybdenum steel frame, manufactured using laser-cut, robot-welded, hydro-formed tubes for the highest precision and quality. This frame features optimized wall thickness for durability, unparalleled rider feedback, and energy absorption. The rear shock mounting is no longer directly connected to the main tube, significantly improving the anti-squat behaviour of the chassis for enhanced traction. The two-piece composite carbon fibre subframe, unique to Husqvarna Motorcycles, uses 70% polyamide and 30% carbon fibre, weighing just over 1 kg for exceptional strength at a low weight.
Plush WP XACT 48 mm closed-cartridge coil-spring forks and a WP XACT PDS monoshock with linkage provide 300 mm of travel front and rear. Both are fully adjustable by hand for compression and rebound, allowing for quick, tool-free setup changes. Class-leading Brembo brake systems, with a 260 mm front disc and a 220 mm rear disc, provide excellent stopping power and reliability. The bike rolls on D.I.D rims fitted with Michelin Enduro tyres. Complete with new, Swedish-inspired white, yellow, and blue graphics, and assembled with premium components throughout, the FE 350 offers a dynamic and visually striking package. Electronic aids include a Map Select Switch for different engine characteristics
