The 2025 Husqvarna TC 250 Heritage model at Lings Husqvarna positions itself on top of the closely fought 250 cc 2-stroke motocross class thanks to its expert construction, which includes the latest technology and premium components. This distinctive machine combines modern performance with a nod to Husqvarna's iconic racing heritage.
At its core is a powerful 249.0 cm³, 1-cylinder, 2-stroke engine. This lightweight engine sets the benchmark in its category, delivering more torque than any other 250 cc 2-stroke and providing a broad, usable powerband. It features Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) via a 39 mm throttle body and an electronic power valve, ensuring optimal power delivery across the entire rev range without the need for jetting changes. An electric starter ensures reliable ignition, while a 5-speed Pankl gearbox provides precise and durable shifts.
The TC 250 Heritage is housed inside a modern chromium molybdenum steel frame that offers exceptional cornering agility and comfort. The frame features a new shock mount for improved anti-squat behaviour and redesigned engine mounts, resulting in enhanced chassis flex, better cornering, and a 300g weight saving. The WP XACT AER 48 mm upside-down forks and WP XACT monoshock with linkage are both fully adjustable without tools for compression and rebound, and re-tuned for 2025 to offer improved response and more flex for unrivalled performance on track.
Braking is handled by powerful Brembo disc brakes (260 mm front, 220 mm rear) for exceptional stopping power. The bike rolls on D.I.D rims fitted with Dunlop MX34 tyres, providing superior traction and stability. The new combined start and stop switch simplifies operation. Revised bodywork offers refined ergonomics for effortless movement and control, with a flat seat profile and recessed pockets for easy lifting. The distinctive graphics, inspired by historic racing machines, are applied using in-mold technology for a long-lasting and understated look, ensuring a stylish and durable finish. A blue seat cover completes the aesthetic, setting this Heritage model apart from the competition.
