When your young racer is ready to step up and truly begin their motocross journey, the fully-geared 2025 KTM 65 SX is the ultimate choice. This machine is designed to be faster, easier to ride, and the ideal stepping stone into the next racing class, offering the quality and components found on full-size motocross bikes, all wrapped up in a compact package.
At its heart, the 2025 KTM 65 SX boasts a 64.9 cm³ 1-cylinder, 2-stroke engine, featuring the latest in 2-stroke technology. This powerful engine sets the benchmark at the starting gate, delivering top-level performance through its manual 6-speed transmission. A proven Mikuni TM 24 carburetor with updated settings works in perfect harmony with the new engine, exhaust, and air intake design to produce the goods. The hydraulic clutch system ensures reliable and consistent action with minimal maintenance.
The chassis is a major highlight for 2025, featuring an all-new high-strength chromium molybdenum steel frame. This design incorporates forged connecting parts and carefully calculated parameters of longitudinal flex and torsional rigidity, allowing for tailor-made stiffness and unprecedented quality in a mini frame. The rear shock mount is separated from the main upper frame tube, mirroring the design of larger KTM SX models, and frame protectors come standard. The bike rolls on lightweight, black anodized GIANT aluminium rims, fitted with MAXXIS MX-ST tyres for outstanding performance and stability on any terrain. Stopping power is handled by floating brake calipers from Formula, with a 198mm wave disc up front and a 180mm wave disc at the rear, ensuring maximum reliability and durability. New "no-dirt" footrests offer improved grip and are less susceptible to hooking up
The 2025 KTM 65 SX is also designed to grow with its rider, offering height-adjustable suspension, handlebar position, subframe, and bodywork. This allows the seat height to be easily adjusted, ensuring a perfect fit as your young rider progresses in size and confidence. Servicing is simplified with draining nozzles for liquids, service markers on the engine, and unified screw lengths on the engine case, making maintenance straightforward. A digital ignition from Hidria provides improved processing power for a cleaner burn and smoother power delivery. All these features combine to make the 2025 KTM 65 SX an advanced and highly competitive 50cc mini-crosser.
