The 2025 KTM 250 EXC presents enduro riders with the ultimate combination of power and rideability, setting the benchmark in the highly contested E1 class. Thanks to its groundbreaking frame, closed-cartridge suspension, and epic TBI technology, it remains an extreme machine that continues to reach new heights. How far you push, though, is up to you.
Now available at Lings Powersports, the KTM 250 EXC delivers championship-level enduro performance in a balanced, mid-displacement package—ideal for riders seeking power, precision, and trail control.
At its core lies a potent 248 cc 2-stroke engine featuring an updated DDS clutch, electric start, and exceptional throttle response. The refined powerband offers smooth low-speed torque and explosive mid-range punch, culminating in a powerful, responsive top-end—all delivered within a controllable, lightweight chassis.
Built on a robust chrome-molybdenum steel frame with an all-new aluminum subframe, the 250 EXC combines strength with agility. Its suspension setup includes long-travel 48 mm WP XACT closed-cartridge forks and a WP XACT PDS rear shock, offering 300 mm of travel both front and rear. This tuned configuration ensures precision handling over rock gardens, roots, and steep terrain.
The bike runs on rugged 21″ front and 18″ rear spoked wheels, shod with top-grade off-road tires. Trail performance is safeguarded by a tough skid plate and reinforced guards protecting vulnerable areas, ensuring durability in demanding conditions.
Braking is handled by a 260 mm front disc with a Brembo hydraulic caliper and a 220 mm rear disc—offering consistent stopping power in all terrain. The updated DDS slipper clutch improves operation finesse, making clutch control effortless in tight or technical sections.
With an 875 mm seat height and aggressive off-road ergonomics, the 250 EXC gives riders a commanding posture while remaining agile enough for long trail days or short bursts of speed.
Trail-oriented features include a quick ’n easy map selection switch for tuning engine characteristics, lightweight thermo-protection components, and a compact lighting unit for visibility during early morning or late-evening rides.
The KTM 250 EXC is built for enduro dominance—marrying lightweight agility with potent 2-stroke performance and rugged off-road capability.
