Now available at Lings Powersports, the KTM 1390 Adventure R distills Dakar-inspired performance into a road-registered package, offering unparalleled off-road capability and dynamic street presence.
Its heart is a beastly 1,301 cc LC8 V-twin engine, producing approximately 160 PS and 106 Nm of torque. With ride-by-wire throttle, selectable ride modes, and quickshifter standard, it delivers thrilling, controllable power whether carving through gravel or accelerating on the highway.
Mounted on a rugged chromoly steel frame with a bolt-on alloy subframe, the Adventure R rides on Dakar-tuned WP XPLOR PRO suspension—fully adjustable 48 mm inverted forks and link-adjusted monoshock providing 240 mm front travel and 230 mm at the rear. This long-travel setup excels over rugged terrain, delivering confidence and composure off the beaten path.
It rolls on rally-spec 21″ front and 18″ rear wire-spoke wheels wrapped in tubed, off-road-ready tires. With approximately 264 mm of ground clearance and a 23 L fuel tank, it’s built for big mileage and tough terrain.
Braking is handled by dual 320 mm front discs clamped by Brembo Stylema four-piston radial calipers, backed by a 260 mm rear disc—all managed via switchable cornering ABS with off-road-friendly modes and Supermoto-ready setting. A 48 mm steering damper adds stability over rough surfaces.
Riders benefit from a 7″ TFT display offering multiple ride modes—Street, Sport, Rally, Enduro, Off-Road, and Off-Road Pro—as well as anti-wheelie, launch control, and cornering traction control.
