Husqvarna Vitpilen 401

The Husqvarna Vitpilen 401 at Lings Husqvarna is anything but an ordinary machine, blending a uniquely raw and authentic street motorcycle experience with contemporary style and performance.

At its core is a light and powerful 398.6 cc, 1-cylinder, 4-stroke engine, producing 33 kW (45 hp) of peak power and 39 Nm of torque. This liquid-cooled engine is designed to deliver optimal torque from low in the RPM range, ensuring controllable power on demand for dynamic urban riding and spirited runs on winding roads. The 6-speed gearbox provides smooth and precise shifts, complemented by a slipper clutch for enhanced control during aggressive downshifts.

The Vitpilen 401 is built arounid a lightweight steel trellis frame and a cast aluminium swingarm, which, together with dynamic ergonomics, improve agility for a heightened level of rder feedback and a more engaging riding experience. Adjustable WP APEX suspension components are fitted for superior handling and comfort. The 43 mm open cartridge forks offer 150 mm of travel, while the monoshock with preload and rebound adjustment also provides 150 mm of travel, allowing riders to fine-tune their setup.

Stopping power is assured with ByBre hydraulic disc brakes, featuring a 320 mm front disc and a 240 mm rear disc, enhanced by lean-angle sensitive Bosch ABS for reliable and safe braking in all conditions. The bike rolls on lightweight cast aluminium wheels fitted with Michelin Road 5 tyres, offering excellent grip and durability. The Vitpilen 401 comes complete with multiple electronic rider aids, including lean-angle sensitive Traction Control for enhanced safety and confidence. All-LED lighting, including a distinctive LED projector lens headlight with a surrounding light ring and an LED tail light, ensures excellent visibility and a modern aesthetic. A new 5-inch TFT display with smartphone connectivity allows for seamless integration and access to features like call management, music selection, and turn-by-turn navigation, ensuring the Vitpilen 401 can be fully customised for optimal on-road performance.
