The Husqvarna Vitpilen 801 at Lings Husqvarna is a highly capable and dynamic roadster that delivers a riding experience like nothing before it. Taking design inspiration from the Swedish heritage of the brand, this beautifully crafted, modern motorcycle is characterised by its LED projector lens headlight, which features a surrounding light ring for an unmistakable look.
Pure performance comes from the 799 cc parallel-twin engine, which produces 105 hp (77 kW) of peak power. This compact and lightweight engine is designed to deliver a broad spread of torquey, usable power, ensuring exhilarating acceleration and smooth cruising. A 6-speed gearbox provides precise shifts, and a Power Assist Slipper Clutch (PASC) ensures confident control during aggressive downshifts.
The Vitpilen 801 is built around a lightweight chrome-molybdenum steel frame, providing exceptional agility and rider feedback. This is complemented by premium, adjustable WP APEX suspension, with a 43 mm upside-down front fork offering 140 mm of travel and a monoshock with preload and rebound adjustment at the rear, also providing 140 mm of travel. This setup ensures a personalised and comfortable setting for any rider, making it accessible to a broad range of riders.
Stopping power is assured with high-performance J.Juan brakes, featuring a 300 mm twin-disc setup at the front and a 240 mm single disc at the rear, enhanced by Bosch Cornering ABS for optimal safety in all conditions. The bike rolls on lightweight cast aluminium wheels fitted with Michelin Power 6 tyres, offering excellent grip and stability.
The Vitpilen 801 is packed with cutting-edge electronic rider aids for a truly customised set-up. It includes Lean-Angle Sensitive Traction Control, and a standard Quickshifter+ for seamless up and down shifts. Riders can choose from three standard ride modes (Street, Rain, Sport) and an optional Dynamic mode. A 5-inch TFT display with smartphone connectivity allows for seamless integration and access to features like call management, music selection, and turn-by-turn navigation (via the optional Ride Husqvarna Motorcycles App). With its blend of performance, advanced technology, and distinctive styling, the Vitpilen 801 redefines the urban roadster experience.
