This is it. For the first time the CRF450RWE – inspired by the bikes raced by American Honda – is available in Europe. And it’s more than a little special. It’s a lot special. Of course, it starts out in the same pit box as the new CRF450R, with the same upgrades to chassis and engine. But then things go extra factory specification. The intake manifold is hand ported and a full Yoshimura R&D™ exhaust is mated to a TwinAir™ filter to help the engine pump even harder; unique ECU settings are part of the setup. A Hinson clutch basket and cover offer high performance, while the hydraulic clutch system reduces fatigue and offers lever position adjustability. The Showa™ rear shock also wears a titanium coated damper rod, the front forks Kashima-coated outer tubes and Titanium-coated slide pipes; a 110-section rear MX33 Dunlop™ tyre helps slide control. A Metallic Red cylinder head cover, anodized aluminium fork caps and rear shock compression adjuster are beautiful details. And sharp graphics – and Throttle Jockey seat cover – mark out the CRF450RWE’s individuality. After all, it is our ultimate CRF.
