Just look at it... the new GasGas EC 300 GP at Lings GasGas is a thing of beauty! Easily the best-looking enduro bike we've ever produced, taking inspiration from the GasGas raced to victory in the 1994 Enduro World Championship, this stunning new model is much, much more than 'just' a beautiful looking bike. Beyond the black rims, black frame, sick graphics, and the anodized hardware like the front axle puller and Supersprox rear sprocket, there's a Map Select Switch for tailored power and a skid plate to protect the motor for continued performance.
At its core, the EC 300 GP is powered by a 293.15 cm³, 1-cylinder, 2-stroke engine. This robust motor is designed to deliver a serious amount of usable power, with clean and tractable torque on tap, encouraging all skillful riders to push their limits. Throttle Body Injection (TBI) makes the EC 300 GP an absolute dream to ride. The Vitesco Technologies EMS continuously analyzes air and water temperature, crankcase pressure, RPM, and throttle position to deliver the perfect mix of air and fuel, ensuring maximum power when you get on the gas. An electronic exhaust control system works by opening the lateral exhaust ports before the main exhaust port opens, creating a smooth, strong, and very rideable power delivery. An electric starter ensures quick and reliable ignition. A Damped Diaphragm Steel (DDS) clutch with Braktec hydraulics ensures consistent clutch action and a super light feel at the lever, with improved traction and durability. An aluminum inverted U-flow radiator with an electrical fan keeps things cool no matter how wild things get.
The chassis offers impressive maneuverability and confidence-inspiring straight-line stability. The central double-cradle-type 25CrMo4 steel frame, weighing just 107.9 kg (without fuel), features a black, glossy powder-coated finish that makes this bike pop! It retains the playful handling and razor-sharp cornering characteristics of the standard EC 300. The all-aluminum subframe is light, strong, and works as one with the new frame, helping to centralize mass. WP XPLOR 48 mm open-cartridge forks offer 300 mm of travel, with easy, tool-free adjustability for compression and rebound. The WP XACT monoshock with linkage also provides 300 mm of travel, with high and low-speed compression, as well as rebound, fine-tunable by hand for maximum comfort and traction.
To make sure every rider gets the braking performance they need, a 260mm Semi-floating Front Brake Disc is bolted on, complemented by Braktec brake systems front and rear, which may well be the best braking set-up out there in the world of enduro. The bike rolls on black rims fitted with METZELER 6 Days Extreme tires, which will give you all the traction needed to get up and over whatever obstacles you tackle. A red anodized front axle puller makes front wheel removal and re-installation incredibly simple. The rear brake pedal features safety wire to prevent bending in case of impact. Bigger footpegs offer a larger surface area for maximum grip and are less likely to catch on the edges of deep ruts. Black NEKEN handlebars with black handguards and a black and red grippy seat cover complete the race-ready package. The EC 300 GP is without a doubt the most complete enduro bike we've ever built. We know you're going to love it just as much as we do.
