At the heart of the Desmo450 MX is a competition-tuned 449.6 cc single-cylinder engine featuring Ducati's signature Desmodromic valve train, pushing out 63.5 hp with an extraordinary 11,900 rpm rev limit—delivering monstrous mid-range drive and an explosive top-end pull that redefines 450-class power delivery.
The aluminium perimeter frame is meticulously engineered for benchmark torsional rigidity, stability, and mass centralisation. Paired with factory-grade Showa 49 mm Kashima-coated front forks and a fully adjustable Showa rear monoshock, the chassis delivers unflinching composure, pinpoint cornering, and exceptional bump absorption across the most punishing tracks.
