"Multifunctional Touring" gets a kick onwards thanks to the CFMOTO 700MT at Lings CFMOTO. This motorcycle harnesses the fantastic versatility of the 650MT but with more power and further upgrades for the riding experience. Long-distance capability with short-run fun and thrills: the 700MT is the next step on the CFMOTO ladder of touring accomplishment. Users can go anywhere, anytime, and free of worries thanks to the rigorous performance on tap.
At its core, the 700MT is powered by a liquid-cooled, 693cc, two-cylinder, four-stroke DOHC inline engine. This motor delivers smooth acceleration at all RPM with addictive responsiveness, producing a maximum of 50 kW (67 hp) at 9,500 rpm and 60 Nm of peak torque at 6,500 rpm. The optimized intake system improves airflow efficiency for quick-revving power and precise throttle return, making it easy to spurt forward and overtake. The engine features lightweight pistons and DLC coating to minimize friction, ensuring durability. A slipper clutch makes for smoother downshifts and the emissions conform to the latest Euro 5.5 standard.
The 700MT's chassis is built for adventure and confident handling. The steel frame is complemented by an aluminum alloy subframe that augments the handling but is strong and light enough for pillions and luggage. For 2025, the 700MT has a wheelbase that's 20mm longer, and its overall length has increased by 64mm, making it 97mm wider and 103mm taller, with a 20mm increase in ground clearance at 190mm. Suspension duties are handled by 43mm inverted forks and an adjustable rear monoshock, with 150mm and 148mm of travel respectively. These suspension units are now sourced locally from YU'AN.
Braking is confident and reliable. Twin front discs (320mm) and a single rear unit (240mm), controlled by ABS, fill the action with a swift press of the finger. For 2025, the 700MT uses Hangte calipers. The bike supports its off-road character with a 19-inch front wheel and a 17-inch rear wheel, equipped with CST dual-sport tyres (110/80-19 front and 150/70-17 rear), ensuring excellent grip and control on both paved roads and dirt tracks. Traction control further enhances safety and reliability.
The 700MT is available in striking Nebula Black or Nebula White versions, guaranteed 'headturners'. The purposeful plastics and bodywork deflect wind and the elements while maintaining a light, nimble aesthetic. The aggressive and modern shape is enhanced by optimized LED lights, providing wide and bright coverage. Comfort is prioritized with a wide saddle, an 18-litre fuel tank, and a seat height of 800mm (optionally 840mm). For 2025, it includes heated grips, a heated seat, and Tyre Pressure Monitoring, all built into the 5-inch curved TFT dash, which supports screen projection and features USB Type-A and Type-C connections. The T-Box telematics unit continues to be standard, allowing the bike to be monitored via the Ride app and receive Over-The-Air (OTA) updates.
