Limited to only 80 units globally, the 2025 KTM 250 SX-F Adamo Edition at Lings KTM epitomizes the READY TO RACE ethos that characterizes all KTM models. Created in celebration of Andrea Adamo winning the 2023 MX2 World Championship, this special edition machine is a true collector's item, capturing a unique moment in time for KTM, Adamo, and his fans.
At its core, the KTM 250 SX-F Adamo Edition shares the high-performance hardware of its sibling, the KTM 250 SX-F Factory Edition. This includes a powerful and lightweight 249.9 cm³ 1-cylinder, 4-stroke DOHC engine, meticulously engineered to deliver a broad spread of usable power throughout the rev range. An electric starter, powered by a robust 12.8V 2 Ah lithium-ion battery, ensures instant and reliable starts. Riders can also tailor the power delivery with a map select switch, offering two distinct engine maps, plus additional electronic rider aids like Launch Control and an optional Quickshifter for lightning-fast, clutch-less upshifts.
The chassis receives significant updates for 2025, directly influenced by Factory Racing development. The central double-cradle-type 25CrMo4 steel frame features a reworked rear shock mount area and updated engine mounts with cut-outs, resulting in improved chassis flex, better cornering behavior, and a 300g weight saving. The WP XACT AER 48mm upside-down forks and WP XACT monoshock with linkage have been re-tuned for 2025, offering improved response and easy, tool-free adjustability for both high and low-speed compression, as well as rebound.
Beyond the core performance, what sets the Adamo Edition apart is its exclusive accessories and striking appearance. This includes an incredibly special complete front mask with the iconic championship leader red plate, featuring Adamo's race number #80 and his signature. As this item is not available to order separately, it truly makes this bike a unique piece of motocross history. The bike is adorned with team-inspired graphics that replicate the championship-winning machine, along with orange anodized CNC Factory triple clamps, a Factory front brake disc guard, a Factory skid plate, an orange rear sprocket, and a gold chain, all emphasizing its race-bred pedigree and collector status.
