Powered by a lightweight engine fuelled by Throttle Body Injection (TBI), the Husqvarna TE 150 at Lings Husqvarna offers incredible torque for a small capacity 2-stroke. Expertly assembled with the latest technical innovations to deliver best-in-class performance, this versatile machine is highly capable in the hands of both beginners and seasoned racers alike.
At its core is a 143.99 cm³, 1-cylinder, 2-stroke engine, designed to provide incredible torque throughout the rev range. The cylinder features a 58 mm bore and is precisely fuelled by TBI via a 39 mm throttle body with dual injectors. This system ensures an immediate throttle response and exceptional rideability, with idle controlled by the throttle valve and a Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) for reliable cold starting. An innovative electronic exhaust control system manages the simultaneous opening of the lateral ports and main exhaust port for maximum power, while an electronic oil pump feeds vital 2-stroke oil into the engine, eliminating the need for premixing. An electric starter ensures reliable ignition, and a 6-speed transmission with a DS wet multi-disc clutch and Brembo hydraulics provides smooth, consistent shifts.
The TE 150 is built around a proven chromium molybdenum steel frame, which ensures straight-line stability at speed without sacrificing agility through slow and technical sections. Optimized wall thickness throughout the chassis aids durability and provides unparalleled rider feedback and energy absorption. For an optimized level of anti-squat behaviour and overall chassis balance, the shock is not directly connected to the main tube, a design mirroring larger enduro models. The subframe, made from 60% polyamide and 40% aluminium, offers exceptional strength at a low weight of just 1.8 kg.
WP XACT 48 mm closed-cartridge spring forks offer 300 mm of travel, while the WP XACT PDS monoshock with linkage also provides 300 mm of travel. Both are fully adjustable without tools for compression and rebound, inspiring confidence ride after ride. New Brembo clutch and brake systems, with GSK wave discs (260 mm front, 220 mm rear), ensure superior stopping power and braking confidence in all conditions. The bike rolls on black high-strength D.I.D rims laced to CNC machined hubs, fitted with Michelin Enduro tyres. Completing the build for 2025 are a combined start and stop switch, and distinctive, Swedish-inspired graphics that adorn the functional bodywork, creating a modern and clean look. An LED headlight provides excellent visibility for night riding.
