Husqvarna FC 450 Factory Edition

The 2027 Husqvarna FC 450 Factory Edition is the undisputed flagship of the motocross paddock — a championship-grade machine engineered to be REFINED TO PERFORM. Built to deliver the closest possible connection to Husqvarna Factory Racing's supercross and motocross contenders, it introduces a completely redesigned chassis, upgraded spring suspension, and an advanced powerplant platform straight into the hands of ambitious racers.

Now available at Lings Powersports, the Husqvarna FC 450 Factory Edition represents the absolute pinnacle of 450 cc motocross engineering. Tailored for riders who demand podium-proven technology without compromise, it blends immense broad power, scalpel-precise cornering agility, and an extensive catalogue of Factory Racing hardware designed to dominate the gate drop.

At its heart is a thoroughly updated 449.9 cc SOHC 4-stroke engine, churning out a staggering 63.8 hp at 10,000 rpm and 52 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm with an increased 14.0:1 compression ratio. Fuel is delivered through an updated 44 mm Keihin throttle body featuring an innovative upstream top-feed injector for superior fuel atomization and razor-sharp throttle response. Paired with a slick 5-speed Pankl gearbox and a wet multi-disc DDS clutch actuated by Brembo hydraulics, power is channeled smoothly and tractably from idle to over-rev.

The chassis is pure competition hardware. A completely redesigned chromium-molybdenum steel frame is roughly 500 g lighter, finished in a signature gloss-white powder coat, with tuned flex characteristics and updated engine mounts that sharpen corner entry while maintaining high-speed straight-line composure. Bolted to it is an ultra-lightweight 1.23 kg all-aluminium subframe — the lightest ever fitted to a Husqvarna Factory Edition — and a topology-optimised die-cast aluminium swingarm with an updated chain tensioner system.

Suspension represents a major generational shift: up front sits the race-proven 48 mm WP XACT Closed Cartridge Spring Fork, replacing the previous air system to provide unmatched front-wheel feedback, consistent high-speed damping, and plush bump absorption. In the rear, an updated WP XACT monoshock features tool-free high- and low-speed clickers and a refined linkage geometry that keeps the chassis planted over high-speed chop and brutal braking bumps.

Braking performance is pro-level Brembo hardware: a 260 mm semi-floating front disc protected by a 2K carbon composite guard works alongside a 220 mm rear disc for immense stopping power. The exhaust system features three resonance chambers in the header pipe to broaden power delivery and comply with the latest 109 dB FIM noise limits. Factory Racing CNC-machined triple clamps with adjustable offset (20–22 mm), black Excel Takasago rims with CNC-machined hubs, Dunlop Geomax MX34 tyres, a WP Factory start device, and a 2K carbon composite skid plate complete the hardware package.

Electronics put total race control at your fingertips. The updated Engine Management System features gear-dependent mapping, integrated knock-control technology to safeguard against detonation, Launch Control, Traction Control, and a refined Quickshifter. Accompanied by a GUTS high-grip seat cover, ProTaper handlebars, and soft ODI lock-on grips, the Husqvarna FC 450 Factory Edition is the ultimate weapon for setting the benchmark on track.
