Dirt bikes for the youngest mini shredders don't get much better than the GasGas MC-E 5 at Lings GasGas! Ideal to learn on, yet equally as capable when it comes to racing, this miniature, battery-powered red rocket does it all. Now water-cooled for consistent power, the fun just goes on for longer!

The heart of the MC-E 5 is a smooth and powerful 5 kW (max power) 48V BLDC electric motor with an outer rotor. This super compact motor is the perfect fit for a smaller chassis, offering a direct but very controllable power delivery. New for 2025, the motor is now water-cooled to maintain a perfect operating temperature for consistent power and to extend running time by a claimed 30%. The motor is also water and dust-resistant, making it largely maintenance-free. Power is supplied by a robust 907Wh Lithium-ion battery, housed safely inside a durable die-cast case. This battery provides energy for up to two hours of riding for a beginner or 30 minutes for riders pushing hard in the highest ride mode. Charging is quick and simple, with an 80% charge achieved in just 45 minutes and a full charge in 70 minutes. The battery is also easily swappable, allowing for uninterrupted fun. A "Control Center" located where a fuel cap would be allows parents to engage one of six pre-installed ride modes, controlling power delivery for safe, controlled progression.

Then there's the new frame. Developed specifically for the MC-E 5, the latest chromium molybdenum steel central-tube chassis makes the bike so much more comfortable and way easier to ride, offering all-important stability, ease of handling, and precise cornering. It also repositions the WP shock to improve performance, especially on the roughest race tracks. Just like its bigger brothers in the GasGas line-up, the MC-E 5 features MAXXIS MX-ST tires for excellent grip and traction, NEKEN handlebars with ODI grips for maximum control and comfort, and adjustable WP XACT suspension for supreme damping and comfort. The 35mm WP XACT upside-down forks offer 205mm of travel and are easily adjustable with an air pump. The WP XACT PDS monoshock provides 185mm of rear suspension travel. Hydraulic brakes with 160mm waved discs front and rear ensure consistent stopping performance. The all-new bodywork is scaled down from full-size motocross bikes to provide kid-friendly ergonomics and a striking look with new graphics and a splash of blue to indicate its electric drive. Adjustable seat height and a rollover sensor that cuts power if the bike falls over add to its safety features. Put simply, the MC-E 5 is the real deal; a fully-fledged motocross bike that caters for kids just getting to grips with off-road riding, right through to young shredders chasing after championship titles.
