The CFMOTO 300SR at Lings CFMOTO is an attractive and sophisticated race-inspired motorcycle with enviable performance. As a competitive model in the entry-level sport racing bike segment, it serves as a loyal companion for both the racetrack and daily city commuting, designed by racers for racers.
At its core, the 300SR is powered by a liquid-cooled, 298 cc, DOHC, single-cylinder, 4-valve engine. This efficient motor delivers 29.6 HP at 10,000 rpm and 27 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm, offering a smooth yet responsive power delivery. Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) ensures maximum fuel efficiency and precise throttle control. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox, and a slipper clutch provides smoother and more efficient shifting, reducing rear-wheel hop during aggressive downshifts and offering a lighter clutch lever pull for enhanced comfort and control.
The chassis of the 300SR is built to the latest standards, perfectly suiting sport riding conditions on both track and street. It features a lightweight trellis frame design for excellent handling and agility. The front suspension consists of a 37mm telescopic upside-down fork with hydraulic damping, offering sports-oriented tuning for a good sense of handling and quick acceleration. The rear suspension uses a single shock absorber. The bike's curb weight has been reduced to 155 kg, enhancing its racing experience and ease of handling. In the S variant, it features a single-sided swingarm, further exuding a strong sense of competition and racing DNA.
Braking is handled by a 300mm front disc with a 4-piston caliper and a 220mm rear disc with a single-piston caliper, ensuring strong stopping force and full security. An intelligent Continental dual-channel ABS system comes standard, minimizing the possibility of locking up the wheels in emergency braking situations. The 300SR rolls on 17-inch aluminum alloy rims, fitted with 110/70 R17 front and 140/60 R17 rear tires.
In terms of aesthetics and technology, the 300SR stands out. The front face design draws inspiration from the aggressive family design language of the SR-C21, with sharp and bold LED headlights and daytime running lights that exude a sense of battle and ensure optimum visibility during night rides. The newly designed front wings add to its sporty side profile. A 5-inch TFT color display, upgraded with enhanced functionality, now supports full MotoPlay screen projection and features distinct interfaces for Sport and Rain riding modes, offering easy access to multiple information such as speedometer, tachometer, battery status, and outside temperature. T-Box and CFMOTO RIDE App connectivity are also available. The track-based ergonomics feature a lower split handlebar and a more aggressive riding position, while a narrowed tail section is complemented by eye-catching paintwork resembling a comet tail streaking across the track to awaken your racing senses. The saddle is designed for comfort, and the 12-liter fuel tank allows for a decent range.
