At its core, the 125NK is powered by a liquid-cooled, 124.2 cc, single-cylinder, DOHC, 4-valve engine. This high-performance engine delivers 10.4 kW (14.4 hp) at 10,500 rpm and 10.2 Nm of torque at 8,500 rpm, ensuring lively acceleration and a responsive ride. Fueling is managed by a Bosch EFI system for optimal efficiency and precise throttle control. The 6-speed transmission is paired with a slipper clutch, providing smoother downshifts and a lighter lever pull, which enhances rider comfort and confidence, especially for those new to motorcycling.

The 125NK's compact chassis contributes to its nimble handling. It features a tubular steel frame and an aluminum swingarm, striking an optimal balance between sturdiness and weight saving, with a dry weight of 142 kg. The braking system consists of a 292 mm single disc brake with a dual-piston caliper at the front and a 220 mm disc brake with a single-piston caliper at the rear.
