TRIUMPH REVEALS ALL-NEW TXP RANGE

Triumph Launches First Electric Youth Motorcycles: The All-New TXP Range

Triumph Motorcycles has officially launched its first-ever range of electric youth motorcycles — the new TXP series, powered by OSET. This exciting lineup brings together Triumph’s world-class design and engineering expertise with OSET’s championship-winning trials technology, creating four models tailored to every stage of a young rider’s journey.

Since joining the Triumph family in 2022, OSET has worked closely with Triumph’s engineering team to take their pioneering electric trials bikes to the next level. The result is the Triumph TXP range: a scalable, age-specific collection of bikes that grow with the rider, combining performance, safety, and fun in a premium package.

Built for Every Rider, Every Stage

The TXP models are carefully designed to support riders as they develop their skills — from balancing for the first time to mastering technical terrain. Each model is engineered with age-specific frames, ergonomics, geometry, and controls, ensuring that every detail is scaled for the rider’s size and ability.

  • TXP-12 – For riders aged 3 to 5, the TXP-12 is the perfect first step into motorcycling. With a lightweight chassis, low seat height, and Triumph-tuned 600W motor, it delivers smooth, predictable power and up to three hours of riding. Child-friendly grips, short-reach levers, and PIN-protected parental controls ensure safety and confidence at every stage.

  • TXP-16 – Aimed at 5 to 7-year-olds, the TXP-16 adds more power with a 765W motor and a top speed of 19mph. Hydraulic disc brakes, upgraded suspension, and a scaled steel frame with a 720mm wheelbase provide stability and confidence for more adventurous riding, while its modular 2-in-1 setup adapts easily between seated and standing modes.

  • TXP-20 – Designed for riders aged 7 to 10, the TXP-20 is competition-ready with a powerful 1200W motor, top speed of 22mph, and diagnostic-ready electronics. It features advanced suspension with rebound adjustment, dual-piston hydraulic brakes, and a larger chassis for tackling technical terrain or even entering junior trials events.

  • TXP-24 – The flagship of the range, the TXP-24 is built for riders aged 10 and up — including teenagers and adults up to 90kg. Its 1600W motor, fully adjustable suspension, and race-level four-piston brakes deliver serious off-road performance, with a top speed of 24mph. Despite its capability, it remains approachable with scaled ergonomics and seat height options to suit a wide range of riders.

Technology and Safety at the Core

Every TXP model benefits from Triumph’s design expertise and OSET’s proven trials DNA. Features include:

  • Brushless motors from 600W to 1600W, scaled for rider age and ability

  • FOC (Field-Oriented Control) for maximum torque and smooth throttle response

  • APS (Active Power Stabilisation) to deliver consistent power output, even as the battery depletes

  • High-capacity lithium batteries with IP67 waterproofing and diagnostic support

  • Modular 2-in-1 design with removable seat and mudguard for quick switching between Xplore (seated) and Trials (standing) modes

  • Comprehensive safety systems, including parental PIN-coded speed controls, magnetic safety lanyards, two-stage startup, and rider-friendly ergonomics

Braking performance is scaled with the range, from cable-operated systems on the TXP-12 through to four-piston hydraulic calipers on the TXP-24. Suspension is equally tailored, from preload-adjustable shocks for younger riders to fully adjustable forks and monoshocks with rebound and compression control on the flagship model.

A Shared Passion Across Generations

The TXP range represents more than just a new product line — it marks Triumph’s commitment to nurturing the next generation of riders.

Nick Bloor, CEO of Triumph Motorcycles, commented:

“The TXP range represents an exciting new chapter for Triumph. Since bringing OSET into the Triumph family, we’ve blended our expertise to develop a range that’s not only technically advanced but also rooted in real-world riding experience. By combining our off-road race-winning engineering experience with OSET’s proven electric trials expertise, we have created a product line that can empower the next generation of riders.”

Ian Smith, OSET Founder, added:

“Being part of Triumph has given OSET the platform to scale our technology and reach new riders. The TXP range carries forward everything we’ve built, from trials championships to community riding. With the support of Triumph dealers across the world we can reach more families, support more communities, and continue to evolve the technology that’s helped thousands of young riders discover the thrill of two wheels.”
