There are track days, and then there are days that get etched directly into dirt-biking folklore. The recent Triumph Off-Road 'Ride With Legends' Owner Exclusive Event at Moto101 was firmly the latter. The Lings Powersports team packed up the vans, geared up, and headed out to Lincolnshire for an unforgettable day celebrating everything that makes Triumph's expansion into motocross and enduro so game-changing.
The headline of the day lived up to every bit of the hype. Getting to share a track with Ricky Carmichael—the G.O.A.T. himself—and five-time World Enduro Champion Iván Cervantes isn't an everyday occurrence. Watching Carmichael effortlessly scrub over Moto101’s jumps and listening to Cervantes carve through technical lines provided a live masterclass in off-road riding. Even better was getting to spin laps right alongside them, feeling the raw agility and explosive power of Triumph’s TF 250-X, TF 450-X, and enduro machines on a circuit prepped to perfection.
The Lings crew was out on the dirt in full force, but the highlight of our pit setup was having Lings-sponsored rider Luke Parker out on track alongside us. Watching Luke lay down fast laps alongside world champions was an absolute thrill for the entire team. He held his own, showcased serious pace, and represented the Lings family with total class, giving our staff and customers plenty to cheer about throughout every session.
Beyond the star power, what made the day truly special was the community spirit. Moto101 was buzzing with passionate Triumph TF owners and like-minded riders all sharing the same obsession with two wheels and loose dirt. From paddock catch-ups and Q&A sessions with the factory development team to swapping track lines over lunch, the atmosphere was top-tier from start to finish.
