KTM has just dropped some incredible news — and the excitement is electric! The Red Bull KTM Factory Racing Team has officially announced its powerhouse lineup for the 2026 SuperMotocross World Championship (SMX) season, and it’s nothing short of legendary.
Unveiled at KTM North America’s RD Field in Murrieta, California, the refreshed roster blends proven champions with rising stars — all united under the unmistakable orange banner.
🏁 Meet the 2026 Red Bull KTM Factory Racing Team
The 2026 team introduces a perfect mix of experience, energy, and raw speed:
-
Eli Tomac (#3) – The big news of the day! Tomac joins KTM as one of the most decorated riders in SuperMotocross history. With four 450MX titles, two 450SX crowns, and 85 career wins, his addition marks a massive moment for the brand. Even more special — Tomac’s journey with KTM comes full circle, as he first rode in the KTM Junior Supercross program back in 2001.
-
Aaron Plessinger (#7) – The fan-favourite “Cowboy” returns for his fifth straight season with KTM. After multiple podiums and a main-event win in Foxborough, Plessinger is back and ready to push for more in 2026.
-
Jorge Prado (#26) – Making his long-awaited U.S. comeback, Prado joins the team after conquering Europe with four FIM Motocross World Championships (MX2: 2018–2019, MXGP: 2023–2024). At just 24 years old, Prado’s return to KTM promises fireworks in the 450SX and 450MX classes.
-
Julien Beaumer (#13) – Headlining the 250 class, Beaumer — or “JuJu” to fans — continues his rise as one of America’s most exciting young talents. The 2024 250SX Rookie of the Year, he’s focused on recovery and set to return stronger than ever in 2026.
🧡 Built to Win: The New KTM FACTORY EDITION Line-Up
Each of the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing riders will be equipped with the all-new KTM FACTORY EDITION machines — the 450 SX-F FACTORY EDITION for the premier class and the 250 SX-F FACTORY EDITION for the 250s. These bikes represent the pinnacle of KTM performance, innovation, and championship-winning DNA.
💬 Team Manager Ian Harrison on the 2026 Season

The dynamic is strong — we’re confident this lineup will deliver great things in 2026.”
