New for 2025 is the Husqvarna TC 150 at Lings Husqvarna. Expertly assembled with the latest offroad technology and premium components, this new addition to the line-up is the perfect choice for riders looking for a little more torque than a traditional 125 cc motocross machine, delivering unrivalled performance on the track.
At its core is a powerful 144 cm³, 1-cylinder, 2-stroke engine, which is compact and delivers class-leading power and torque. This engine is fuelled by a highly sophisticated Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) system via a 39 mm Keihin throttle body with dual injectors. This system ensures a smooth spread of controllable power across the rev range, making for an unbeatable on-track experience without the need for manual jetting. An innovative electronic exhaust control system manages the lateral exhaust ports and main exhaust port simultaneously for maximum power delivery, and an electronic oil pump feeds vital 2-stroke oil into the engine, eliminating the need for premixing. An electric starter provides reliable ignition, and a 6-speed gearbox, made by Pankl, ensures smooth gear changes and reliability. Consistent shifting in all conditions is assured thanks to the cleverly designed gear lever, which prevents dirt build-up. The lightweight crankshaft improves throttle response and minimizes vibration, and its precise positioning ensures rotational mass has very little effect on the overall handling.
Ergonomic bodywork wraps neatly around a finely balanced chromium molybdenum steel frame. This frame features optimized wall thickness in all high-stress areas for reliability and offers advanced geometries and flex characteristics aimed at providing unparalleled rider feedback, energy absorption, and exceptional straight-line stability. Material reduction around the shock mount and steering head, along with revised wall thickness, enhance flex characteristics, reduce weight by 300g, and improve cornering without compromising straight-line stability. The two-piece subframe, made from 60% polyamide and 40% aluminium, weighs just 1.8 kg and ensures exceptional strength.
WP XACT 48 mm upside-down forks and a WP XACT monoshock with linkage are both fully adjustable without tools for compression and rebound, and re-tuned for 2025 to offer improved response and 305mm (front) and 293mm (rear) of suspension travel. Braking is handled by powerful Brembo disc brakes (260 mm front, 220 mm rear) for exceptional stopping power. Lightweight D.I.D rims are fitted with new Dunlop Geomax MX34 motocross tyres, providing superior traction and stability. The new combined start and stop switch simplifies operation. Minimalistic blue, white, and yellow graphics create a distinctive and modern look for the TC 150, applied using in-mold technology for a durable finish. A tall and flat seat with a high-grip cover offers unrestricted movement, ensuring riders stay firmly in place under hard acceleration.
